Dose Reduction Program

Our “Dose Reduction Program” has received special recognition from the European Society of Radiology’s EuroSafe Imaging Wall of Stars initiative, which promotes quality and safety in medical imaging. As many as four Affidea centers were awarded certificates, including the Affidea clinics in Šiauliai and Panevėžys, as well as the Affidea diagnostic centers in Santariškės and Antakalnis (Vilnius). These certificates represent significant recognition for the exceptional focus on patient safety in our centers.

Affidea diagnostic centers are the only ones in the Baltic States to hold a 5-star EuroSafe Imaging rating from the European Society of Radiology.

Quality Standards

For its continuous focus on patient safety and the improvement of clinical excellence, Affidea is recognized internationally. Most Affidea centers have been awarded 4 or 5 stars under the EuroSafe program, and UEMS/EBNM has recognized Affidea for its high level of expertise in nuclear medicine.

Affidea centers operate in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management standards, ensuring compliance with strict healthcare quality requirements. These standards are accredited by trusted international organizations.

Prostate MRI Centre of Excellence Qualification

In 2021, Affidea Lithuania was awarded the Prostate MRI Centre of Excellence qualification. The program involved Dr. R. Grigienė and Dr. R. Briedienė.

Sustainability

In 2021, Affidea Lithuania received a certificate confirming that 100% of the electricity used in its operations comes from renewable energy sources.
